Last updated: 1 October 2026. This notice explains how the public Doon Global School website handles information. It covers website use only; admissions, employment, student, parent and staff records may be governed by separate forms, notices and school procedures.
Information You Choose to Send
Most enquiry forms on this website send what you enter to the school's own server. The details are emailed to the school office that handles that kind of enquiry and stored in the school's enquiry system, so that the team can reply and keep a record of the conversation. Where you give an email address, an acknowledgement is sent to it. A CV sent with a career application is stored for the school's recruitment records.
A few forms instead open WhatsApp or your email application with the details filled in, so that you review and send the message yourself. The provider you choose and the recipient then process the message under their own systems and policies. If you give your name and contact details to the chat assistant on this site, its provider passes them to the school's enquiry system in the same way.
Do not place original identity documents, passwords, payment-card details, medical records or other sensitive information in a general website enquiry. Ask the school which approved method should be used when a document is required.
Technical Information
The hosting provider and security systems may create routine records such as the requested page, date and time, browser information, referring page, IP address and error or security events. These records may be used to operate, protect and troubleshoot the website. The site also uses a service worker to cache selected public files on your device for faster and offline access; browser settings can clear that storage. To avoid showing the chat assistant's welcome screen on every visit, the site keeps a marker in your browser's storage recording that you have visited before. It holds a date and nothing that identifies you.
Website Analytics
The site uses two analytics services, Google Analytics and SnowAnalytics, to understand how the website is used. Both record the pages viewed, the time spent on them, the referring page or search that led to the visit, an approximate location derived from the network address, and the device, operating system and browser. Clicks on telephone, email, WhatsApp, map and document links, and on the admission and campus-visit buttons, are also recorded, as are the sending of an enquiry form, the opening of the chat assistant and the choice made on its welcome screen (parent, student or visitor). Google Analytics sets its own cookies. SnowAnalytics is configured not to use cookies or browser storage; a returning device is recognised using an identifier that provider derives from the request rather than one kept on your device.
When an enquiry form is submitted successfully, the details entered on that form are also sent to SnowAnalytics and linked to that visit, together with the reference the school's enquiry system assigns. Depending on the form, those details include the name, telephone number and email address given, and the other fields of that form, which for an admission enquiry include the name and class of the child the enquiry concerns. The free-text message or comments box is deliberately not sent to the analytics service: it is delivered to the school by email and held in the school's own enquiry system only. Analytics records are held by those providers under their own terms and retention periods.
Third-Party Services
Pages may load services supplied by other organisations, including Google Fonts, Google Maps, WhatsApp links, the analytics services described above and the external chatbot shown on the site. Those services may receive technical information or use their own cookies or storage when loaded or opened. Review the provider's privacy information and browser controls before using a service. External services are not controlled by this website.
Children's Information
The public website is intended mainly for parents, guardians and prospective families. A child should not send personal or sensitive information through an open form without a parent or guardian. Parents should use the contact details below to ask how any required student information will be collected, used, retained, corrected or deleted.
Your Choices and Questions
You can choose not to use an enquiry form, block optional third-party content through browser settings, clear cached site data, or contact the school directly. If you want to ask about information already sent to the school, identify the communication channel and approximate date without repeating sensitive details in the first message.
Contact
For a website privacy question, email admissions@doonglobalschool.edu.in or call +91 74559 97333. The school should confirm the appropriate contact where the request concerns an existing student, employee, applicant or statutory record.
Updates
This notice may be updated when the website, its service providers or the applicable process changes. The date at the top identifies the version published on this page.
