Our admission process is designed to be transparent and straightforward. Follow the steps below to secure a place for your child at Doon Global School.
Admission to Doon Global School takes six steps: an online enquiry, submission of documents, an entrance assessment for Grade I and above, an interaction with the Principal, confirmation by fee payment, and an orientation session before term begins. Begin by filling out the online inquiry form on our Admissions page or visit the school campus to collect a registration form. Our admissions team will acknowledge your inquiry and guide you through the next steps.
Submit the required documents including the completed application form, previous academic records, birth certificate, passport-size photographs, and any other relevant certificates. Students applying for Grade I and above sit an age-appropriate entrance assessment: a paper of about an hour, with questions in English, Mathematics and Science (Environmental Studies in the junior classes) and a short section on reasoning and cognitive skills. It is used to place a child in the right class and to see where support will help. It is not a ranking exercise.
What the paper shows is shared with parents as The Road Ahead: a written note that describes each area in a growth band, names the support the school will give and sets the first milestones. It prints no marks. How Goalkeepers works.
Following the assessment, parents and the student will be invited for a personal interaction with the Principal. This is an opportunity for the family to learn more about the school's philosophy and for the school to understand the student's interests and goals.
Upon successful completion of the assessment and interaction, an admission offer letter will be issued. Parents must confirm admission by completing the fee payment within the stipulated time frame to secure the seat.
Newly admitted students and their families are invited to an orientation session before the academic year begins. This session covers school routines, expectations, extracurricular opportunities, and helps students settle into their new environment.
