CBSE Boarding School in Dehradun

Doon Global School is a CBSE-affiliated co-educational school in Dehradun with boarding for boys, at the 14th Milestone on Chakrata Road, Jhajra. Founded in 1998, it has spent 28 years teaching children from Nursery to Grade XII. Residential places begin at Grade 3, so a family can move a child into residence at the point that suits them and keep the same board and campus through to the Class XII examinations.

Families searching for CBSE boarding schools in Dehradun are usually settling two questions at once: which board a child should study, and whether the child should live at school. This page deals with both. For the residential side on its own, the wider boarding school in Dehradun page covers hostel life, safety and pastoral care.

The disclosure also records a special educator, a counsellor who works as a wellness teacher and internet connectivity across the academic block. The documents, including the affiliation certificate, sit on the mandatory public disclosure page, and the affiliation number can be checked independently on the CBSE website.

The May 2026 disclosure lists Principal Cdr Monika Pande's qualifications as MSc, BEd. Families who want the academic picture without the residential element will find it on the CBSE school in Dehradun page.

Subject-wise detail for each stage is set out on the academics page. Parent-contact tools, progress-reporting methods and PTA dates can change by session. Ask the school which official channels and current meeting calendar apply to your child's class.

The one-time charge of ₹ 90,000 comprises ₹ 10,000 registration, ₹ 60,000 admission and a refundable security deposit of ₹ 20,000. An imprest account of ₹ 35,000 a year is held on actuals and covers books and uniform. A day place carries one-time charges of ₹ 32,000, rising to ₹ 34,500 from Grade 9. The head-by-head breakdown is on the boarding fee structure page.

Scholarships or concessions may be available subject to the current written policy and approval. Ask admissions or accounts to confirm eligibility, the fee component covered, value, duration, renewal conditions and exclusions.

Admission runs in six steps: inquiry, documents, an entrance assessment for Grade I and above, an interaction with the Principal, fee payment and orientation. The admissions page lists the papers to keep ready. To speak to the office, call 7455997333 (or 9762599773, 9528687660, 9997073777), or write to admissions@doonglobalschool.edu.in.
