Switching between day and boarding

Parents ask this early, and it is a fair question: if we start our child as a day scholar, can we move to boarding later, or the other way round? The honest answer is that it is possible and it happens, but it is handled case by case rather than by a published rule. A residential place depends on availability in that grade in that year, the fee schedule changes, and the timing within the session matters. None of that can be settled sensibly from a web page.

The practical step is to raise it during the admission conversation, even if the change you are imagining is two or three years away. The admissions team can tell you what is realistic for your child's grade, and the interaction with the Principal, a step in the process anyway, is a good place to discuss whether a child is ready for residence at all.
