Admission Process - Doon Global School

Pre-Admission Process

To apply at DGS, the applicant needs to start the procedure by filling up the Online Registration Form on the School’s website.
To visit the school and meet the Admission Counsellor, Parent needs to take an appointment between Monday to Saturday, 9am to 4pm.
Once the Online Registration Form is received, an orientation meeting will be held between the parent and the Admission Counsellor, for which a date and time will be allotted.
A one-time non-refundable Registration Fee amount to be paid before the Entrance test.

ENTRANCE TEST

The school carries out a Formal Assessment of the student in order to decide on appropriate learning or behavioral support. The school will require educational evaluations on Subjective and MCQ (English, Math’s & Science) based on previous Grades.

Once Admission is granted, Parents are required to deposit the non-Refundable Admission Fee.

(Admission process to be completed within 15 days of the entrance test)

DOCUMENTATION

All documents need to be duly completed, signed and filled in block letters, before submission. Any incomplete documents may lead to delay in the Admission procedure and increase the risk of not gaining a seat. Additionally, once all the details are organised, please deliver them to the Admissions Office and submit the following documents

Passport size photograph – Student, Parents & the local Guardian (2 each).
Photocopy of Aadhaar Card – Student, Parents & the local Guardian.
Photocopy of the Birth Certificate – Student.
Transfer Certificate from the previous school.
Medical Fitness Certificate.
Last exam Mark Sheet.

(In case of Grade 11 Admission, Migration & Character Certificate is to also be submitted)

School Timings (Summer)

Pre-Primary: 8am – 12:30 pm (Saturday Off)

Grade 1 & 2: 8am – 2:00 pm (Saturday Off)

Grade 3 to 12: 8am – 2:00pm

School Timings (Winter)

Pre-Primary: 8:30am – 1 pm (Saturday Off)

Grade 1 & 2: 8:30am – 2:30pm

Grade 3 to 12: 8:30am – 2:30pm

In extreme temperature, we probably change the school timings in the morning accordingly.

Books and Uniform

All school books, articles of stationary, uniforms, shoes may be purchased directly from the vendors by Parents / Students. In term of requirements for students in The Boarding House, the School will make the necessary arrangements through the House Parents. For Boarders, payments for these will be borne by Parents either directly or through the Imprest Account, as the case may be.

Boarding Admission Age Criteria

Admission in the Boarding is offered from Grade 3 onwards.
