This page explains the school's public safety commitments and where families can verify current evidence. It does not replace the detailed operating procedures held by the school, which may be updated as requirements, facilities and transport arrangements change.
Published Safety Evidence
The school's mandatory disclosure publishes the documents currently available for public review, including:
- Fire safety certificate
- Building safety certificate
- Safe drinking water and sanitary-condition certificate
Check the issuing authority, date and validity stated in each signed document. A general website description should never be used as a substitute for the certificate itself.
Campus and Visitor Arrangements
Families should ask the school to demonstrate the entry, visitor-record, authorised-pickup and CCTV arrangements currently in force. Confirm who is responsible for monitoring, incident recording and escalation.
Medical and First Response
Before enrolment, ask who provides first response during school and boarding hours, where medicines are stored, how consent and incidents are recorded, how parents are contacted and which emergency-referral process currently applies.
Transport Safety
Transport availability and operating details can change by session and route. Ask the transport office to confirm the current vehicle permit and fitness records, driver and attendant arrangements, tracking availability, pickup authorisation, emergency contact process, stops and expected journey time for your child.
Child-Protection Concerns
Students and families should be told how to raise a concern, which staff member receives it, how confidentiality is handled and what the escalation route is. Ask for the current reporting procedure during admission or orientation.
Emergency Communication
In an immediate emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service and the school through its current official contact details. Families should keep their own phone numbers and authorised-contact records up to date and confirm the communication channel used by the school for urgent notices.
Verify Before Relying
Operational details such as equipment counts, staffing, routes, helplines and audit frequency should be confirmed directly because they can change. Use the parent safety checklist, review the signed disclosures and ask questions during a campus visit.
